AS A JUNIOR (2019-20)
HONORS: Bevo Francis Award Top 100 (1/15/20)… SSC Defensive Player of the Week (12/9/19, 2/10/20, 2/17/20)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… SSC Defensive Player of the Year… SSC All-Tournament team… appeared in 28 games while making 25 starts… led the Sunshine State Conference in rebounds with 244, averaging 8.7 per game… also led the conference in field goal percentage (.671) and blocks with 95, averaging 3.4 per game… averaged 15.1 PPG and 2.8 APG while making 59.8% of his free throws… was 18th in the SSC with 78 assists… played 850 minutes, averaging 30.4 per game which was 21st in the SSC… scored in double figures in 23 games, dropping 20 or more points six times, and scored a season-high 33 against No. 8 Lynn (March 3)… had double-digit rebounds 10 times with his season-high coming against Embry-Riddle on Nov. 20 when he had 15… had a season-high seven blocks on three occasions.
AT JACKSONVILLE (2017-19)
Spent two seasons at Jacksonville University ... played in 64 games for the Dolphins, averaging 8.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game ... as a sophomore, tallied a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds at Indiana (12/22/18) ... selected to the ASUN all-freshman team in 2017-18 ... Hinton averaged 9.0 points and 5.3 rebounds as a freshman ... led the Dolphins in field-goal percentage (.661).
HIGH SCHOOL
