Appeared in all 16 games with 15 starts as a forward for 1284 minutes of action. Tophoven scored his first hat trick after a three-hour weather delay against UAH on Sept. 2 and later scored his second against Trinity in just the second half of action. Tophoven scored 16 goals on the year with three assists for a total of 35 points with two game-winning goals. 

AT WISCONSIN (2020-2022)
Earned Athletic Board Scholar during his two-year tenure, appeared in 21 games with 13 starts, and scored four goals and five assists. 

AT MERCYHURST (2018-2020)
Named freshman athlete of the year in the PSAC, named to the D2 All-Region team as well as the PSAC All-Conference team, and the Mercyhurst male student-athlete of the year. Tophoven was a two-time scholar-athlete appearing in 32 games with 23 starts, scored 16 goals and 11 assists in his two seasons.
