Played in 27 games, making seven starts… tallied seven hits, four runs scored, two RBIs, one stolen base, and seven total bases on the season… made his first collegiate start at Charleston on March 3, also posting his first career hit… scored the game-winning run in PC’s 6-5 walk-off win over Radford on April 24… recorded back-to-back two-hit performances against Radford on April 25 and 26.

HIGH SCHOOL
A graduate of South Point High School... Excelled in both men's baseball and men's basketball, earning numerous accolades including all-state honors twice, all-region honors twice, and all-conference honors all four years... Recognized as MVP in his senior year and received the Golden Glove Award at the Easter Tournament... Achieved academic success with A honor roll recognition for the last three years of high school... Known for hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth in his senior year against a rival school... Played for club teams such as Artillery, Five Star, and Team Elite Collegiate Team, the Edenton Steamers, and was named to the All Tournament Team.

Originally from Belmont, North Carolina..... Comes from family with parents Stuart and Jennifer Taylor and siblings Alyssa Smith and McKenzie Taylor... Chose Florida Southern for its strong baseball program and supportive coaching staff... A fan of the Florida Marlins and the Braves, and admires Francisco Lindor... Enjoys golfing, DJ'ing, skiing, surfing, and working out...Plans to major in business with aspirations of making it to the Minor Leagues or MLB, and ultimately owning a business and working in real estate.
