SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ... appeared in nine games out of the bullpen ... finished the season with a 1-0 record and recorded a 2.03 ERA ... threw a total of 13.1 innings and allowed 14 hits, struck out 12, walked three and allowed a total of six runs, including three earned runs ... longest outing was a three inning performance at Eckerd (5/1) ... in that outing, he allowed one hit, while walking one and tying a career-high with three strikeouts ...  ended the season by pitching seven consecutive scoreless innings and had seven scoreless outings on the year ... also recorded three strikeouts in two innings of work against Grand Valley State (3/5) and had two strikeouts apiece in two other outings ... picked up his only win of the season against Grand Valley State (3/5) as he pitched two scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

2013 SEASON: HONORS - D2ADA Academic Achievement Award ... SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll ...appeared in six games on the mound and made three starts at third base on the season ... as a pitcher, threw a total of five innings and allowed 11 hits, walked three and struck out four ... recorded a career-high 3 strikeouts at Flagler (5/1) ... threw an inning in four of his six pitching appearances ... recorded his first career base hit at Flagler (5/1) and also scored his first career run in that same game ... started at third base against Flagler (5/1), Saint Leo (5/3) and Rollins (5/10) ... had a career-high 4 at-bats at Flagler (5/1) and recorded two hits on the season as he had one at Flagler and one at Saint Leo (5/3).

2012 SEASON: HONORS – SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll … appeared in 8 games, including making one start ... posted a 1-0 record with a 2.93 ERA ... ERA was second-best on team ... pitched 15.1 innings, struck out 9, walked 5 and allowed just 10 hits and five earned runs ... did not allow a run in 5 of 8 appearances ... opponents hit .189 against him ... made first FSC appearance vs. Saint Leo (2/8) as he pitched one scoreless inning and recorded a strikeout ... longest outing was four innings vs. Embry-Riddle (4/10) ... recorded season-high 3 strikeouts against Lincoln Memorial (2/10) ... made first career start vs. Warner (2/14) and in that game, pitched three innings and allowed two hits and two runs, while recording both a walk and strikeout.

HIGH SCHOOL:  2011 graduate of Lakeland High School … infielder and pitcher on Lakeland’s 5A state runner-up team in 2011 … team was 27-5 … hit .340 with team-best four home runs … had two hits in 5A semifinal game … honorable mention all-county selection … named to Polk County All-Star team as a senior … second-team selection on All-Bay Area team chosen by Bright House Sports Network … member of National Honor Society … attended McKeel Academy as a freshman and sophomore.  

PERSONAL:  Son of Eddie and Kellie Barnett … mother also attended FSC … has a younger sister … majoring in business administration … has performed over 250 hours of community service … played summer baseball on Team Mizuno squad that won 2010 world championship … born 9/1/93.
