Two-way player for the Mocs with 14 appearances on the mound and 33 AB at the plate...batted .273 in his 26 games played with nine hits and seven RBI...went 3-for-3 against NSU on April 1 with three RBI, all season-highs...finished 4-2 on the mound with one save in 30.2 innings pitched...first win was a 13-8 victory over USC Beaufort on Feb. 15....back-to-back wins against Wayne State and #1 Tampa in March...finished with a 7.04 ERA and one start on the mound. 

PRIOR TO FSC (HIGH POINT)
In 2024, appeared in nine games on the mound, making seven starts ... a 2-2 record with 19 innings pitched ... opposing teams hit .290 ... threw five innings against Davidson (3/26), two hits, and no runs ... pitched against Wake Forest twice ... tallied a season high three strikeouts in two innings of work at Elon (5/7) ... 1x Big South Freshman of the Week.

Graduated from Alonso High School in May of 2023... He was the 2022 Hillsborough County strikeout leader... 2022-23 All 813 First Team... Western Conference First Team in 2023... 2023 Hillsborough Senior All Star...named to the National Honors Society.

Son of Angelica and Joel Rivera... Has one brother named Jared...fan of the San Diego Padres and athletes Miguel Cabrera and Fernando Tatis Jr...moved to Florida from Puerto Rico when he was nine years old...majoring in Exercise Science.
