Called up to varsity after a fall JV season...had three appearances with one start in the outfield against Nova Southeastern...entered in two games as a pinch runner...against NSU, had a groundout RBI in the seventh for his first career RBI.

Primarily a JV baseball player, Benton was moved up to the Varsity squad during the year but did not see any action.
