Alex Frapart

  • Title
    Assistant Baseball Coach
Alex Frapart followed Coach O'Dette to Lakeland prior to the 2025 season after spending the last season as an assistant coach at Saint Leo University under O'Dette.

In his first year with the Moccasins in 2025, Frapart helped as an assistant focused on the pitching staff, including a lot of time preparing the players in the bullpen. FSC finished with a 4.89 ERA as a pitching staff, led by Sachem Ramos and Logan Adams as all-conference winners as starting pitchers. Ramos led the team with 11 wins, the most by a Moc since 2018.

A key part in the success of the pitching staff at SLU, Frapart brought coaching experience, previously spending four seasons with Allan Hancock College as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. In 2021, he led the Bulldogs to a conference-best winning percentage and 12 players named All-Conference, including the Western State Conference Pitcher of the Year. Prior to his time at AHC, Frapart spent three years at the University of Antelope Valley in California.

Frapart is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Antelope Valley and a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree from Florida Atlantic University. Before joining the collegiate coaching ranks, Frapart assisted in training several professional baseball and football players, including Le'Veon Bell, Miguel Cabrera, and JD Martinez while working for Bomarito Performance Systems in Miami, Fla. Last summer, Frapart spent time with YD Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
