A native of North Carolina, Biddix joins Florida Southern as an Assistant Baseball Coach / Head JV Coach for the 2023-2024 season.
Biddix spent the Summer of 2023 as an Assistant Coach with the High Point-Thomasville HiToms of the Coastal Plain League, a prestigious Collegiate Wood Bat Summer League. Biddix worked primarily with infielders and outfielders as well as serving as the First Base Coach. Biddix coached two HiToms who were signed by MLB organizations (Will Verdung III - Atlanta Braves 13th Round Pick; Bo Davidson - San Fransisco Giants Undrafted Free Agent).
Prior to the Summer of 2023 Biddix served as the Head Coach of his alma mater Draughn High School in Valdese, NC.
Since Biddix took over in the Fall of 2019, the Wildcats program made tremendous strides. They captured a record-breaking season in 2022 by winning the school's second-ever Conference Championship, the first since 2012 which Biddix was a part of as a player, single-season school record in wins (20), and first state playoff win since 2017. Biddix was named 2022 Western Highlands Conference Coach of the Year, and 2022 North Carolina Region 7 Coach of the Year.
In the Spring of 2023, Biddix led the Wildcats to the greatest season in program history. The Wildcats set a new record in wins (22), as well as making the deepest playoff run in program history (4th Round, Regional Semi-Finals). The Wildcats also won their second straight Western Highlands Conference Championship and Biddix was named Western Highlands Conference Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
Prior to Draughn, Biddix was the Pitching Coach for Caldwell County American Legion Post 29 in the summer of 2018, helping lead the 29ers to an Area IV Championship and a bid to the NC State Tournament.
As a player, Biddix attended Catawba Valley Community College and was a part of the 2015 NJCAA DII World Series team, finishing 3rd. He then attended Montreat College where he played until graduating in December of 2018.
Biddix has a Business Management Degree from Montreat College and a Master of Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
