Another incredible season for Garoz, third-striaght with 19+ singles wins...broke single season record of wins in a single season with a 22-3 record...went 3-0 at the #2 court and 19-3 at the #3 court...led the team with three nationally ranked wins...beat No. 72 Soler, No. 21 Kodjoed, and again Kodjoed, then ranked No. 31...finished the season ranked No. 41 in DII singles...went 8-1 in the final 10 matches of the year...went 16-9 in doubles paired with Chris Fok Kow at the #1 court, including five nationally ranked wins...finished ranked No. 18 in doubles.Â
2023-24
Another great year for Garoz that nearly broke a program record (20 - Patrick Ney in 1998) set by Garoz last season with team-high 18 singles wins during the season...battled at the #3 court for most of the season with a 6-3 record against nationally-ranked opponents...key wins against No. 1 UIndy for best team win in program history, with singles wins against No. 4 Mississippi College, No. 1 Saint Leo, No. 15 Wingate, and No. 14 Embry-Riddle...paired with Chris Fok Kow for All-SSC First Team Doubles and team-high 14 wins and win over No. 27 ERAU pairing...ended with a No. 67 singles and No. 19 doubles ranking.Â
2022-23
Dominant freshman year culminating in the SSC Freshman of the Year honor...finished the season with 19 wins in singles, the most by a freshman since 2009...had a massive win over No. 28 Vincent Thiel...ranked 75th in singles at the end of the season...won 13 straight matches in non-conference play...paired with Ryan Rajakar with a 12-7 record at the #2 court.
