Biography

Returning 2-year starting midfielder after transferring to Florida Southern from Division I Jacksonville University in 2013… One of only two seniors on this year’s team.

As a junior (2014)… Played in all but one game, starting 11… Still played more than 60 minutes in two of his three games as a reserve… Fourth on the team with 18 shots… Scored his only goal in 3-1 win at #18 West Florida (Sept. 14), putting the Mocs ahead by two in the 69th minute… Averaged 68 minutes per match and went all 90 in the season finale at Barry (Oct. 25).

As a sophomore (2013)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started 10 of his 12 games played… Opened the final nine games on the midfield line for the Moccasins and was the first man off the bench in the two games prior to that… Fourth on the team with three goals and fifth with six points… Scored on three of his 10 shots for the best percentage on the squad… All three of his goals came in the final six games, making him the Mocs’ leading scorer during the stretch run, and all of them either tied the score or gave Florida Southern the lead… Tallied his first career goal in 7-1 loss to Rollins (Oct. 16)… Put Florida Southern ahead late in the second half of 2-2 tie at Tampa (Oct. 30), and tied the SSC Tournament game at Barry with a goal early in the second half, with the game eventually ending 1-1 before penalty kicks (Nov. 5)… Averaged 62 minutes.

As a freshman (2012 at Jacksonville)… Played in nine games with two starts for head coach Ryan Pratt, and averaged 30 minutes per match… Drew his starting assignments vs. Sienna (Aug. 26) and at East Tennessee State (Oct. 7)… Played a season-high 66 minutes as a reserve at Hofstra (Sept. 25).

In high school… 4-year starter and 2-year captain for coach Al Sousa at Osceola High School in Largo, graduating in 2012… First Team All-Pinellas County as a junior and senior, Second Team as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman… Scored 21 goals in his prep career, including nine as a senior when he also picked up 12 assists as a Largo captain… Also played for Tampa Bay United under Maurice Loregnard and Kelvin Jones… Former Largo teammate Adam Stephany now plays for SSC rival Eckerd College.
