One of only two seniors on this year’s team and will be the only 4-year letterman.

As a junior (2014)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Florida Southern Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete Award Winner from men’s soccer… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Appeared in five games, making two starts against eventual national champion Lynn (Oct. 11) and Barry (Oct. 25)… Scored his first career goal in season-opening 3-0 win over Webber International, converting on a corner kick within seconds after checking into the game as a reserve (Sept. 6)… Averaged 45 minutes per match in his five games, going all 90 in the 3-1 loss at Lynn.

As a sophomore (2013)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Saw his playing time triple from his freshman season and earned his first career start at center back in place of the injured Petter Allansson on September 21 at Lynn… Averaged 30 minutes in his six games overall… Made his biggest play of the season in a 3-2 overtime win vs. Florida Tech when he cleared a ball off the goal line late in regulation to keep the score tied (Oct. 12).

As a freshman (2012)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Saw action in three games as a reserve defender, including 39 minutes in a non-conference game against Rollins (Sept. 19)… Averaged 21 minutes in those three matches.

Prior to Florida Southern… Came to Florida Southern from Ostra Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden, and also attended Sodertorn University… Played four years for FOC Farsta, coached by Toni Skold.

Extra… Born 6/30/92… Son of Peter and Anna-Lena Hagstrom… Has one older brother (Marcus) and one younger sister (Jessica)… Business and Economics major.
