Appeared and started in 17 games ... lead all field players in minutes with 1429 ... helped lead the Mocs defensively with five shutouts ... finished the season with two goals and one assist for five points scored the game winning goal to send the Mocs to SSC Tournament in the final regular season win over Saint Leo (Nov. 2) 1-0.

Appeared in six matches this season, starting thrice... played all 110 minutes in the season opening contest, a 0-0 double overtime tie at Montevallo.
2018
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started 16 games, did not play against Mary (Oct. 8)… scored his first career goal on Oct. 17 in a 7-1 win against Eckerd… marked two assists, including his first career, assist in the 6-0 win against Trinity… recorded seven shots, five on goal… had the fifth-highest shot on goal percentage (.714).
2017
One of six Moccasins to play in all 14 games, starting all but one (the regular-season finale vs. Lynn)… spent most of the season at outside back, helping the Moccasins compile a 1.14 goals-against average, the fourth-lowest in team history while allowing either one goal or no goals in 12 of their 14 games… averaged 82 minutes per match and his 1,142 minutes for the season were second among field players only to center back Daniel Moore.

2016 graduate of Pasco High School in nearby Dade City where he played for head coach Barry Grayling… as a senior, led the Pirates to a 16-4-3 overall record, the district championship, and a spot in the regional semifinals… scored 14 goals with 15 assists in only 17 games while splitting time with the basketball team… team captain in both soccer and basketball… the first player in Sunshine Athletic Conference history to be named First Team All-SAC in two sports at the same time… first-team selection as a midfielder in soccer, and a first-team selection as a point guard in basketball… went on to earn First Team All-SAC honors in baseball later in the spring… participated in six different sports in his high school career: soccer, basketball, football, baseball, golf, and tennis… also played with Florida Soccer Club Spirit 97 Elite, coached by Harris McIlwain… while going 35-8-3, the team won the USA Division I League (U19), the 2015 Florida Elite Invitational Gold Tournament (U19), and the 2015 IMG Cup in the Gold Division (U18)… led the team with 32 goals and 18 assists going into the 2016 Florida State Cup… during the 2014-15 season with the Chargers Soccer Club (U19) coached by Andres Arango, scored 23 goals and contributed eight assists… played up two age groups with the Chargers for the opportunity to play with his older brother Grant… graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pasco High School
Personal
Son of Brad and Bobbi Starling… father played football at Valdosta State… cousin, Zach Maggard, played for the Florida Southern baseball team from 2008-11… has one older sister (Amanda) and one older brother (Grant), together making them part of the first 4-generation family of student-athletes at Pasco High School.
