Biography

Returning starter in the center ofFlorida Southern’s back line and one of five seniors…Has played in all but one game over the last two seasons, startedall but three, and has made a team-high 24 consecutive startscoming into 2014.

As a junior(2013)… SunshineState Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Oneof four Moccasins to start all 15 games, and the only one to playevery minute, becoming the first Moccasin to accomplish that sincethe statistic was first tracked in 1997… Has played everyminute in 24 straight games… Led a Florida Southern defensethat saw its goals against average fall by nearly 0.60 goals pergame… Also helped the Mocs allow one goal or no goals inseven of their 15 games… Responsbile for two of the four“team saves” by stopping shots in back-to-back gamesagainst Florida Tech (Oct. 12) and Rollins (Oct. 16)… Turnedin two of his best games of the season in the Mocs’ twoshutouts, a 3-0 win over 11th-ranked Tampa (Sept. 28), and a 1-0win at Nova Southeastern in the regular season finale that clincheda spot in the SSC Tournament, a game in which they allowed only oneshot on goal (Nov. 2)…Scored his only goal of the season ina 2-1 loss at 10th-ranked Saint Leo (Oct. 19) and was the onlydefender to score for the Moccasins in 2013.

As a sophomore(2012)… Began the season as a reserve defender butstarted 12 of the final 13 games, and played in all but one gameoverall… Gave the Moccasins 19 critical minutes off thebench in the season-opening 2-1, double-overtime loss to18th-ranked Coker (Aug. 30), and did the same with 35 minutes intheir 1-1 tie at St. Thomas (Sept. 4)… Helped the Moccasinslimit West Florida to only eight shots in his first career start atcenter back, though the Argonauts won 2-1 (Sept. 9), and followedthat with a shutout in his second as the Mocs defeated NovaSoutheastern 1-0 (Sept 12)… Also a starter at that positionwhen the Mocs gave up only seven shots in a 0-0 tie at Eckerd (Oct.23)… Scored his first career goal in the season-ending 6-2loss at Rollins (Oct. 27)… Assisted the game-winning goal inthe Mocs’ 1-0 non-conference win at Nova Southeastern (Sept.12)… Averaged 77 minutes per match.

As a freshman(2011)… SSCCommissioner’s Honor Roll… On the roster butdid not play in any regular season games.

In highschool… Joined the Moccasins from Bishop Verot HighSchool in Fort Myers where he played four years for coach TomMcGlinn… Four-year starter who was part of four districtchampionship teams… Named the Vikings’rookie-of-the-year as a freshman… All-State selection in2010 when he had 15 goals and 12 assists, helped the Vikings go26-1-2 with 20 shutouts, and win the Class 3A state championshipwith a 4-3 victory over North Broward Prep… All-State againin 2011, when he helped the Vikings go 22-4, with 26 goals and 18assists, and advance to the state semifinals as a senior when hewas one of only two returning starters.
