Eddie Carvallo moved from Venezuela to Tampa in the early 1990s and joined the prestigious Palmer Tennis Academy. He went on to attend Florida Southern College, graduating in 1999. As a key member of the Men’s Tennis Team, Eddie contributed to their 3rd Place finish at the NCAA Championship in 1998 and earned a spot in the school's Top 10 for Most Singles wins.

In addition to his tennis achievements, Eddie is a dedicated endurance athlete, having completed 3 Ironman races, 10 half Ironman races, and numerous running events. Beyond sports, Eddie is heavily involved in his church, where he assists with religious education for children. With over 20 years of experience in technology sales, Eddie now resides in Tampa with his wife and two children, staying deeply connected to his community and his passion for fitness and faith.
