Biography

One of six seniors on this year’s roster who has appeared in 92 games with 88 starts in her first three seasons (all in the outfield), the most among current Moccasins.

AS A JUNIOR (2017)
HONORS: NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in six games with three starts (two in right field and one as the designated player)… Went 1-for-2 as the Mocs’ right fielder at Flagler (Feb. 10)… Made her other two starts in conference play against Embry-Riddle (March 11) and Florida Tech (April 7).

AS A SOPHOMORE
HONORS: NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in 35 games, all as an outfielder, and started 34… Made 24 starts in right and 10 in center… Hit .268 and had a .360 on-base percentage from March 5 forward when she had three multi-hit games in conference play, coming against Barry (March 12), Nova Southeastern (April 15) and Eckerd (April 30), and two additional games with two walks… Had an 11-game stretch in March covering nearly a quarter of the season in which she hit .308 with a .400 on-base percentage… Came up to bat with a runner at third and less than two out on three occasions during the season and brought the runner home all three times… Advanced runners with a hit, walk or out in 53 percent of her opportunities, third on the team behind Makayla Deuberry and Erica Morrissey… Hit safely in two of the three games against both Florida Tech (April 1-2) and Nova Southeastern (April 15-16)… Went 1-for-3 with four walks in the series with Palm Beach Atlantic (March 25-26)… Best all-around conference series came against Barry when she went 2-for-8 with two walks for a .400 on-base percentage and one stolen base (March 11-12)… Sent the Mocs’ final game of the season into extra innings with a 1-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh against Eckerd (April 30), one of her two hits in the game which made her responsible for two of the Mocs’ three runs in that game.

AS A FRESHMAN
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of only two Moccasins to start all 51 games (senior Gianni Artidiello was the other), with 45 starts coming in right field and the other six in center… Third on the team with 13 walks… Began her college career by picking up four hits in the Moccasins’ five games at the Eckerd College Invitational… Had four multi-hit games, with two off those coming in conference play against Lynn (March 13) and at Rollins (April 18)… Went 3-for-9 in the Rollins series and 3-for-10 with a double and a walk against Lynn… Drove in her only run with an RBI single against Young Harris (Feb. 7)… Had two of her three extra-base hits (both doubles) in a doubleheader against Montevallo (Feb. 21) where she went 3-for-6 and scored three runs.

In high school… Joined the Moccasins as a 2014 graduate of Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois… Started all four years of her high school career while playing for four different coaches, playing shortstop and the outfield with a .342 batting average… IHSA Academic All-State and All-Conference selection as a junior and senior… Illinois State Scholar and Presidential Award winner as a senior when she graduated first in her class… Played travel ball with four different organizations, including the Illinois Sluggers 18-U team from 2013-14, where she was coached by Dana Boehmer and played in the ASA “A” Nationals… Personal… Daughter of Sherrill and Mark Worcester… Oldest of four siblings, with two brothers (Nicholas-20 and Christopher-14) and one sister (Courtney-18)… Favorite team is the Chicago Cubs.
