2015 (Sophomore at Santa Fe College): Second Team All-Mid Florida Conference… 2014 (Freshman at Santa Fe College): Honorable Mention All-Mid Florida Conference… Atlantic District All-Tournament Team.
One of six junior college transfers joining the Moccasins this season... Spent her first two seasons at Santa Fe College in Gainesville where she played under head coach Christine Ahern as a 2-time all-conference selection.
In junior college (2014-15)… Had a .260 batting average as a freshman (46-for-177) with a .303 on-base percentage, four doubles, one triple, one home run and 15 RBI… Perfect on stolen base attempts (8-for-8)… Third on the team with 46 hits, led the team with 20 sacrifice bunts and also had a team-high 134 assists in the field… Had as many as seven assists in a game, which she did three times… Finished with 11 multi-hit games, two of them in the FCSAA Atlantic District Tournament where she went 5-for-11 (.455) with a double, three walks, and three RBI to earn all-tournament honors… Had a 3-hit game against St. Petersburg College on February 15… Hit .237 as a sophomore, but .348 over her last 16 games when she had all five of her doubles, eight of her sacrifice bunts, and also walked twice for a .388 on-base percentage… Again led the Saints with 11 sacrifice bunts… Stole two more bases, making her 10-for-10 in her junior college career.
In high school… 2013 graduate of Timber Creek High School in Orlando… 4-year letter winner for coach Steve Soubasis… Also a member of the track & field team in 2011-12… Regional qualifier in track and finished sixth in the regional meet in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump… Graduated with honors… Played travel ball with the Stealers West Gold from 2009-14, coaching by Vinnie Fernandez… Personal… Daughter of Michele and Frank Scott… One of five children in the family with three brothers (one older and two younger) and one older sister… Fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Florida State Seminoles… Born 4/9/95… Criminology major.
