AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… appeared in all 24 games… had 15 hits, nine runs scored, three RBI, two doubles, and two steals in 65 at-bats… slashed .231/.359/.262… saw her fielding percentage improve from .929 to .974 while turning four double plays… committed just two errors in 78 chances… had four multi-hit games… went a combined 4-for-7 in a doubleheader against Nova Southeastern (Feb. 29).
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
HONORS: All-SSC Second Team, SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… played in 28 games for the Mocs … in 88 at-bats she recorded 30 hits, drove in 14 runs, scored 12 runs, walked six times, and had only five strikeouts… she hit her only home run of the season in game one of a doubleheader vs Nova Southeastern (Feb 16)… lead the team hitting four triples on the season… as well as posted a .929 fielding percentage with only 7 errors.
HIGH SCHOOL
Home-schooled student but played softball for Strawberry Crest High School… Hit .394 in her high school career (80-for-203)… First Team All-Western Conference as a junior when she hit .417 with nine doubles, seven triples, one home run and 18 RBI… Also selected as the Chargers’ best offensive player… Helped the Chargers reach the 8A state semifinals as a sophomore as the team’s Iron Woman Award… Played travel ball for the Florida Impact-Feldman, winning the 2017 ASA Gold 16U national championship, and the 2018 Atlanta Legacy Gold 18U championship.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Barrett and Stephanie Higgins… Has two older sisters (Olivia and Tori) and one younger sister (Amelia)… Sister Tori was a member of the Florida Southern women’s golf team (2016-19)… Favorite pro team is the Tampa Bay Rays.
