AS A JUNIOR (2020)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…
appeared in 10 games… hit .273 with one RBI… caught 50% of runners attempting to steal a base… went 2-for-3 in game one of a doubleheader against Minnesota Duluth (March 11) in what would end up being the team’s final games before Covid-19 shut down the season.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)
Played in 20 games for the Mocs... recorded eight hits in 22 at-bats and drove in four runs... she went 1-0 in the circle, appearing in 10 games and starting one... she pitched 20.2 innings giving up a career-low 17 hits and 12 runs... she struck out 17 while walking 13 and posted a career-best 3.05 ERA.

Returning starter who split time between the pitcher’s circle, designated player, and third base for most of her freshman season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in 36 games overall, making 35 starts split between third base (23 games), the designated player (11), and pitcher (7)… Hit for herself in all seven of her starts as a pitcher… Normally hit in the #5 slot… Led the Moccasins with five home runs… Home run total tied for the most ever hit by a Florida Southern freshman (others were Kellie Robinson in 1989, Sarah Kohlbrenner in 2004, and Angela Williams in 2006)… Tied for fourth on the team with 20 RBI… Third on the team with a .440 slugging percentage… Threw the first perfect game at Chris Bellotto Field, and the first for a Moccasin in seven years, when she beat Chestnut Hill 8-0 in six innings, a game in which she also hit a 2-run double (March 5)… Started her career by hitting safely in seven of her first eight games, going 9-for-27 (.333) with two doubles, two home runs, and eight RBI… First two college hits went for extra bases with a double in the first game at USC-Aiken and a home run in the nightcap (Feb. 8)… That home run was one of three in the span of four batters for Florida Southern in the top of the fourth inning, immediately following Shannon Bell and two batters before Kensie Green… Hit home runs in conference play at Lynn (March 3), at Embry-Riddle (March 17), and at Florida Tech (April 13)… Home run against Embry-Riddle was a 2-run shot that tied the game in the sixth inning and sent it to extras… Ended the season by hitting safely in six of her final seven games, going 10-for-23 (.435) with one double, one home run, and six RBI… Had two different 5-game hitting streaks, once from Feb. 17-March 5, and the second one from March 13-23… Had eight multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games… One of two Moccasins, along with Alex Mace, to have a game with four RBI… Established career-highs for hits (3) and RBI (4) in a 9-4 win at Flagler in which she snapped a 4-4 tie with a grand slam in the top of the fifth inning and was the winning pitcher with 4.2 innings of scoreless, hitless relief (April 18)… First player in team history to hit a grand slam and pitch a perfect game at any point in her career… First Florida Southern pitcher to ever hit a grand slam… Had a .371 batting average with runners in scoring position (13-for-35), which was second on the team to Shannon Bell… After giving up three runs in her first appearance as a pitcher in relief at Francis Marion (Feb. 7), allowed only one run over her next nine appearances, which included three starts… Went 4-0 with one save and a 0.26 ERA during that time covering 27.0 innings… Had two shutouts among her six wins, which accounted for both of her complete games, one of them the 8-0 perfect game vs. Chestnut Hill (March 5), and the other a 7-0 win over Rollins in which she allowed only two hits, struck out one and walked two (March 10)… Had a career-high 12 strikeouts in her 6-inning perfect game against Chestnut Hill, striking out the side in the first, fourth, and sixth innings, and did not have a ball hit out of the infield… Next highest strikeout total came in her 4.2-inning relief role at Flagler when she fanned seven, did not allow a hit and walked only one (April 18)… Picked up her only save by pitching 2.0 scoreless innings at USC-Aiken (Feb. 8)… In her role as a pitcher, ranked second in the SSC in strikeouts per 7 innings (6.76) to Embry-Riddle’s Ilona Andringa, and was fifth in opponents’ batting average (.211), with both numbers the best on the team.

In high school… 2017 graduate of University High School… Class 9A Second Team All-State as a senior infielder… Daytona News-Journal all-area team as a senior after hitting .457 with seven home runs and 33 RBI… Made five appearances as a pitcher as a senior with a 2-0 record, one save, a 1.47 ERA, and 30 strikeouts in 19.0 innings… Struck out 103 batters in 85.1 innings in her high school career while going 7-5 in 21 appearances with a .187 opponents’ batting average… Also a member of the bowling team at University High School… Graduated cum laude.

Personal… Daughter of Christopher and Sheryl Weldon… Has one older sister (Lauren) and one younger brother (Jordan)… Favorite pro team is the New York Mets.
