AS A SENIOR (2020)
HONORS: SSC Pitcher of the Week (2/10/20), NFCA Selected Top Performance (2/12/20) SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Appeared in 16 games while making 12 starts in the circle for the Mocs… had a record of 5-8 and a 2.44 ERA… struck out 38 batters in 74.2 innings pitched… pitched seven complete games… her best start of the season came against Western Ontario (Feb. 21) in a 7-1 win where she scattered nine hits while striking out two in the complete-game victory… her 12 starts and 74.2 innings pitched were both the second most of her career… her 15 walks were the fewest she has allowed in a season… on Feb. 10, earned SSC Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time since her sophomore season, following a 3-0 week with a 0.00 ERA in 19.1 innings… over that weekend she picked up two victories against top-25 teams including holding No. 4 West Florida to three hits over five innings pitched and recorded four strikeouts while walking one… she preceded that outing a day before with a five-inning two-hit performance against No. 18 Alabama Huntsville… she struck out a season-high four hitters on five different occasions… had a 0.00 ERA in 15.1 innings at neutral site games.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… Pitched 47.2 innings in 22 games for the Mocs… went 0-5 on the season and led the team with a pair of saves against Lynn (March 8) and St. Michael’s (March 19)… struck out 37 batters, walked 20, and gave up 68 hits while posting a 4.11 ERA… recorded a season-high five strikeouts on two occasions, in game two of a doubleheader against Minnesota Duluth (March 18) and in game one of a doubleheader at Barry (March 30)… had three scoreless outings, twice at Eckerd (Feb. 28 & March 1) and once at Saint Leo (April 4)… she recorded the second-highest K/7 (5.43) on the team behind Jenna Weldon.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Pitcher-of-the-Week for April 9… NFCA Scholar-Athlete... SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Led Florida Southern in wins (9), ERA (1.65), innings pitched (101.2), complete games (4), and strikeouts (75)… Second on the team with 17 starts, one less than Kelli Gault… Finished the year #7 in the SSC in earned run average, and her 1.65 ERA was the lowest for a Moccasin in six years… Ranked eighth in opponents’ batting average (.218) and ninth in strikeouts per game (5.16)… Picked up the second SSC Pitcher-of-the-Week award of her career after tossing a 3-hit shutout against #4 Palm Beach Atlantic, ending a 23-game winning streak by the Sailfish (April 7)… Pitched out of a bases-loaded none-out jam in the top of the first inning after a walk, error, and hit batter, before giving up just three singles in three different innings, with four strikeouts and two walks… In her only other start against a nationally ranked team, went the distance against #15 West Florida, but was on the wrong end of a 2-0 score (April 24)… Gave up just one earned run in 6.0 innings across two games against eventual South Region champion Saint Leo (March 28-29)… The PBA game was her only complete game shutout of the season, but she combined with Jenna Weldon for a shutout of USC-Aiken in which the Mocs won 8-0 (Feb. 8)… Did not allow a run in four of her 17 starts and had a 4-inning relief outing at Lynn in which she did not allow a run (March 3)… Gave up two runs or less in 12 of 17 starts, and only once gave up more than two earned runs, with that happening in her first start of the season against Tampa (Feb. 17)… Pitched a 1-hitter for a 4-1 victory at Nova Southeastern, striking out four and not walking a batter (April 28)… Compiled a 7-0 record with a 1.51 ERA in 11 appearances and nine starts at Chris Bellotto Field where opponents hit just .201 against her… First undefeated pitcher at home for the Moccasins since Christine Clark went 8-0 with a 1.22 ERA in 2009… Picked up her two saves by pitching the final 3.0 innings of a 6-3 win at Francis Marion (Feb. 7), and tossing 4.0 perfect innings in a 7-3 come-from-behind win at Lynn (March 3)… Her 4.0 innings of relief came after starting the first game of the doubleheader at Lynn that day in which she gave up only one run on two hits with two strikeouts and no walks… Put together a 5-4 record with one save and a 1.94 ERA in 17 appearances in conference play… Had a career-high nine strikeouts in 2-1 win over Hillsdale, a game in which she allowed an unearned run on five hits with no walks (March 7)… Had four plate appearances as a batter, hitting for herself in a start against Rollins where she was 0-for-2 with a walk while allowing just one run in 4.1 innings in the circle… Other plate appearance came as a pinch-hitter against Chestnut Hill (March 5).
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Pitcher-of-the-Week for February 20… One of two Florida Southern pitchers who started at least 10 games (Beacham with 11 and Brandi Jones with 20)… Pitched in 15 games overall, and was second in innings pitched (71.1)… Finished in a 3-way tie for the team lead in wins (5) and was tied for second in strikeouts with Hannah Loyer (44)… Pitched a complete game 4-hit shutout in her first start to beat Chadron State 6-0, striking out seven and walking one (Feb. 3)… Gave up singles to two of the first three batters she faced, then only two more hits to the final 23, with only one runner in the game reaching scoring position… In that game, became just the second freshman pitcher in team history to start a season opener, joining Rhonda Kaiser who did that in 1985, the Mocs’ first season of fast-pitch softball… Came back the following day to pitch one inning of scoreless relief for a save in the Mocs’ 3-1 non-conference win over Eckerd (Feb. 4)… Went all 10 innings in 4-1 extra-inning win at Eckerd in her first SSC start, allowing just four hits with six strikeouts and three walks to earn the win and the SSC Pitcher-of-the-Week award (Feb. 17)… Picked up her other wins against Georgia Southwestern (Feb. 11), SW Minnesota State (March 7) and Embry-Riddle (March 11)… Season opening win vs. Chadron State was her only shutout, but had three other starts with only one run allowed, and a fourth start in which she allowed one earned run… Matched her season-high of seven strikeouts in the 5-2 win over SW Minnesota State.
In high school… 2016 graduate of Lakeland Christian High School… Played softball for head coach Sue Wilsman from 2009-16 Led the Vikings to back-to-back 3A state titles as a junior and senior and was the winning pitcher in each of those state championship games… Class 3A Pitcher-of-the-Year as a junior and senior and 2-time high school All-American… 4-time All-Polk County selection and 4-time MVP for Lakeland Christian… Compiled a 52-20 record, 1.94 ERA, .194 opponents’ batting average, and 537 strikeouts in 422.0 innings in her high school career covering five seasons as a pitcher (started 10 games as an eighth-grader)… Also had a career .340 batting average and .413 OBP, with 18 doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 95 RBI, and was 12-for-12 on stolen bases… Went 17-6 as a senior, with three of those losses coming to schools that reached either the 7A or 8A state semifinals… Struck out 196 batters in 126.0 innings while starting 23 games… Pitched a 1-hit shutout with 16 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over John Carroll Catholic in the 2016 state semifinals, and later that day limited University Christian to five hits and struck out 10 in a 9-1, 9-inning victory in the championship game… Pitched 16.0 innings that day with six hits allowed, 26 strikeouts and four walks, and hit a game-tying home run in the fifth inning of the championship game… Went 12-0 as a junior with a 1.46 ERA and 91 strikeouts in 67.0 inning… Best year as a hitter came as a sophomore when she hit .460 with seven doubles, three homers and 28 RBI… Played travel ball for the Young Guns (coached by Sherman Johnson), the Florida Fire (coached by Tony Moritz) and Florida Gold (coached by Brian Webb)… Helped the Florida Fire 98 win the ASA 16U National Championship in 2015 after placing fifth with the Young Guns in 2014… Graduated with honors.
