AS A JUNIOR (2018)
HONORS: NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… NFCA Scholar All-American… Florida Southern Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete Award winner for softball… Played in 39 games with nine starts (five in right field, one in left, and three as the designated player)… Singled and scored in her first at-bat in the starting lineup as the DP against Eckerd (Feb. 24)… Three nights later as the Mocs’ leftfielder, drove in the only run of the game with a second-inning single that gave the Moccasins a 1-0 win over Wheeling Jesuit and backed a no-hitter thrown by Kelli Gault (Feb. 27)… Took two hits away with her glove in another start in right field at Saint Leo when she also threw a runner out on the bases (March 29)… Made 28 appearances as a pinch-runner (second on the team to Jordan Sheppard), scoring eight runs in that role.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
HONORS: NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Played in 20 games with six starts (four in right, one in left, one as the DP)… Started all three games at the Eckerd College Invitational in Clearwater and went 2-for-7 (.286) with a sacrifice and one RBI… Had her best game of the season as the Mocs’ designated player vs. Claflin, picking up one hit, one walk, an RBI and a stolen base while scoring two runs (March 8)… Made her only start in conference play in the series finale at Barry and took two Buccaneer hits away with spectacular catches in right field… Made 14 appearances as a pinch-runner, second on the team to Jordan Sheppard’s 22.
AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
HONORS: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Appeared in 30 games overall and made all four of her starts in the last seven games of the season… All four starts came in right field… Third on the team with seven stolen bases and went 7-for-7 for the season… Had five steals in the last three series of the season, including four as a starting outfielder… Went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and a run scored in her first career start at Nova Southeastern (April 16), scoring the go-ahead run in the Mocs’ 4-2 win… Used as a pinch-runner 23 times, second on the team to Jordan Sheppard, and scored eight runs in that role while stealing four bases… Scored her first run as a pinch-runner when she raced home from second base on a fielding error in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Mocs a 2-1 win over Spring Hill (Feb. 10)… Scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh as a pinch-runner that sent the game to extra innings in the season finale against Eckerd (April 30).
In high school… Graduated from Hinsdale Central High School in 2015… 4-year starter for Al Coppersmith and Lee Maciejewski… West Suburban Silver All-Conference as a freshman, junior and senior… Made the all-area team during each of her four high school seasons… IHSA Scholastic Achievement and Scholar-Athlete as a junior and senior and was an Academic All-Star as a sophomore… Selected to the all-tournament team at the “Take a Swing at Cancer Tournament”… Member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society… Dean’s List student all four years of her high school career… Most recently played travel ball for the Joliet Dirt Devils Elite from 2014-15, and was coached by Mike Callans and Mike Jerman… Also played for the Illinois Hawks in 2013, and the Palos Rippit from 2010-12 where she was coached by Jessica Noble… Named to the All-Star Team at the 2013 Colorado Sparkler… Helped the 2012 Palos Rippit team place fourth at the NSA Nationals in South Carolina…
Personal… Daughter of Michaelene and Gene Tracey… Has two younger twin sisters (Alicia and Allison) who are now sophomores at Florida Southern… Lists her favorite teams as the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bandits, and Chicago Black Hawks… Two of her former teammates from Illinois also came to play softball for schools in the Sunshine State Conference (senior Nikole Van Gennep at Eckerd, and Emily York formerly at Florida Tech).
