3-year starter at center back for the Moccasins who has started all but two games in her first three seasons… 40 games and 40 starts are the most for any player on the active roster.
As a junior (2016)… Academic All-District… NCAA Division II Academic Achievment Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Team MVP… Started all 13 games at center back, the second year in a row starting every game for the Moccasins at that position… Helped Florida Southern post its lowest goals against average (1.26) in four years while allowing one goal or no goals in eight of their 13 games… Also helped the Mocs post two conference shutouts for the for the first time since 2010 (Sept. 21 at Eckerd, and Oct. 30 vs. Lynn)… Led the team in minutes played by averaging 89 per match and went the distance in all but three of them.
As a sophomore (2015)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievment Award winner… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started all 14 games in the center of Florida Southern’s back line… Third on the team in minutes played and was second among field players to senior center back Christine Knudstrup… Played all but 15 minutes of the season… Stopped a shot inside the box that helped preserve a 1-1 tie at Georgia College (Sep. 11)… Helped the Mocs limit SSC champion Barry to only four shots on goal in their conference match in the middle of the season (Oct. 3), the second year in a row she turned in a stand-out performance against the Buccaneers… Had another game at Eckerd in which the Mocs allowed just three (Oct. 21)… Averaged 93 minutes per match.
As a freshman (2014)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Started all but two of Florida Southern’s 15 games at center back (missed October conference games against Tampa and Florida Tech)… Went all 90 minutes in her college debut to help the Mocs shut out Georgia College 3-0 (Sep. 5)… Followed that by playing an instrumental role in a 1-1 tie with #22 Lenoir-Rhyne (Sep. 7) and back-to-back shutouts of Anderson and Flagler, the second of which resulted in only four shots allowed… Made two big plays in the final 15 minutes to help preserve a 2-1 win over #8 Barry (Sep. 20)… Averaged 83 minutes per match.
In high school… 2014 graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School where she was a 4-year starter for head coach Guy Virgilio… Helped lead the Mustangs to four district titles and the class 4A state semifinals as both a junior and senior… In 2014, her senior year, led Lakewood Ranch to its first undefeated regular season (18-0-1) and 18 shutouts, as the Mustangs allowed only 10 goals in 25 games (finished 23-1-1 including the state playoffs)… Part of a defense that posted 33 shutouts in her last two seasons… Selected as the Bradenton Herald All-Area Girls Player-of-the-Year in 2014… Named the Mustangs’ defender of the year as a sophomore and junior and overall team MVP as a senior… 2-time scholar-athlete award winner, as well as a national scholar-athlete award winner in 2014… Played her club soccer from 2010-14 for the West Florida Flames where she was a teammate of another Florida Southern senior, Alex Diamandis, and was coached by former FSC head coach Brittany Jones and Jason Streets.
