Returning starter at outside back after coming to Florida Southern in the spring of 2012 as a transfer from Division I Eastern Kentucky University… Has played in every game since her arrival at Florida Southern.
As a junior (2013)… Team MVP, only the second outside back to win that award (Lexie Bottomley won in 2011)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played in all 20 games and started all but two of them at left back… Helped the Moccasins post a 1.68 goals against average and five shutouts, with six other games in which they allowed only one goal… Part of six games in which the Mocs allowed less than 10 total shots… Had her two best games of the season against nationally ranked Tampa, first in a 1-0, non-conference loss to the 4th-ranked Spartans (Sept. 28), and later in the Mocs’ 1-0 double-overtime win at Tampa in the first round of the SSC Tournament (Nov. 5)… Also a big part of the 0-0 tie with top-ranked West Florida in which the Moccasins allowed just eight shots (Sept. 15), and a 1-0 loss at Eckerd in which they surrendered only four (Oct. 8)… Averaged 86 minutes per match.
As a sophomore (2012)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… One of six Moccasins to play in all 18 games, seeing time as both a midfielder and defender… Started four games early in the season, helping the Mocs record shutouts against Anderson (Sept. 2) and Nova Southeastern (Sept. 12)… Averaged 36 minutes per match overall, and her 409 total minutes off the bench were only five behind team leader Auburn Cherry… First or second player off the bench in 10 of her 14 games as a reserve… Played nearly half the game in that role in a 2-0 win over Saint Leo in which the Mocs allowed only three shots… Set up two of Florida Southern’s three penalty kick goals on the season by getting fouled inside the box in the 2-0 win over Saint Leo (Oct. 8) and a 3-1 win over Eckerd (Oct. 13), with both of them game-winners midway through the second half.
As a freshman (2011)… Part-time starting midfielder for the Colonels and head coach Lindsay Basalyga... Scored her first collegiate goal in a 2-1 loss at Kentucky (Aug. 23), which came in her first career start… Notched an assist in 4-0 win over UNC-Asheville (Sept. 2)… Averaged 58 minutes per match… In high school… 2011 graduate of Lake Mary High School, but spent her first three years of high school at Seminole High School in Sanford… Second team all-conference as a senior at Lake Mary, and also as a sophomore at Seminole… Honorable mention all-conference as a freshman when she was also named the team’s rookie-of-the-year and MVP… Served as team captain in her junior season at Seminole… Played club soccer for Florida Nike Rush and was also team captain… Helped that squad to three state runner-up finishes and two state final fours in the Region III Premier League.
