MOCS DROP FINAL MEET, BUT STILES BREAKS RECORD

Freshman David Stiles broke his own record in the 1000-yard freestyle, but the Moccasins lost their dual meet at Rollins 138-66 Saturday.

Stiles' second-place time of 10:21.92 topped his previous record time of 10:25.29 set in the season-opening meet against Tampa on Oct.11. 

The Moccasins had a pair of individual winners in the men's meet.  Greg Gorman won the 100-yard freestyle (49.99) and Kelly Dorian won the 100-yard butterfly (52.45).

Saturday's meet wrapped up the regular season for the Moccasins.  They'll compete in the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships Feb. 11-14 at Charlotte, N.C.
