The 17th-ranked Moccasins ran into a powerful Lynn team that is ranked fourth in Division II and dropped a 9-0 decision Friday on the FSC courts.
The loss was FSC's second straight to a top five team, coming on the heels of last Saturday's loss to No. 2 Barry. The Moccasins are 3-2, 1-2 in the Sunshine State Conference. Lynn is 4-0, 1-0 in the SSC.
The Moccasins' C.J. Johnson produced the most competitive match of the contest, falling 7-5, 7-5 to the Knights' Alex Voirin at No. 6 singles.
The Moccasins play Lake Superior State Monday at 11 a.m. on the FSC courts.
