The Lady Mocs opened their spring schedule with a 6-3 non-conference win over Saint Leo Thursday at Saint Leo.
After dropping two of the three doubles matches, the Moccasins took five of the six singles matches. All-American Senka Softic, ranked 17th in singles in the final ITA Division II fall rankings, won her season-opening match at No. 1, downing Lina Benkirane 6-0, 6-0.
 The Moccasins, also ranked 17th in the final ITA fall rankings, added straight-set singles wins by Ashley Hungerford at No. 2, Erin Conroy at No. 3, Veronika Kovacikova at No. 4 and Nora Baertschi at No. 5.
