Mocs Cruise Past Saint Leo 9-0

Florida Southern's No. 2 doubles team of Roman Schirmaier and Guenther Fercher started the match with an 8-0 win and the 19th-ranked Moccasins went on to blank Saint Leo 9-0 in a Sunshine State Conference match Tuesday at the FSC courts.

The win improved the Moccasins' record to 10-7 overall, 2-2 in the SSC.  Saint Leo fell to 5-11, 0-4 in the SSC.

The Moccasins won all six singles matches in straight sets, with Javier Castro recording the clinching win at No. 4.

The Moccasins play at No. 14 Rollins Wednesday at 3 p.m.
