Mocs Down #12 Northwood 8-1

The Moccasins improved their record to 5-3 with an 8-1 win over 12th-ranked Northwood (Mich.) Thursday on the FSC courts.

Still ranked 13th in the newest ITA national rankings, the Moccasins won all three doubles matches and won four of their five singles matches in straight sets. 

Michael Knoedler improved his singles record to 6-2 with a 6-4, 6-1 win over 36th-ranked Peter Kazianschuetz at No. 1 singles.  Northwood’s only win came in a three-set match at No. 5 singles. 

FSC’s next match is Tuesday at 3 p.m. against Bentley on the FSC courts.
