An injury in warmups cost the Moccasins one of their top players and they lost the third-place match in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament, 5-1, to Rollins Saturday and finished fourth.
Roman Schirmaier, who played No. 2 singles and who teamed with Michael Knoedler on the 12th-ranked No. 1 doubles team, suffered a head injury during pre-match warmups and was unable to play in the match.
The Moccasins' only point came on an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles by Christian Lange and C.J. Johnson. With the win, Rollins (17-7) avenged a 6-3 loss to FSC in the regular season.
Barry won its third straight men's title with a 5-4 win over Lynn in the championship match.
The Moccasins (14-7) will now await word on whether they receive an NCAA tournament bid for the South Regional May 6-8.
