After having last weekend's scheduled season opener against third-ranked Lynn postponed due to rain, the Moccasins tried again Sunday, this time facing fourth-ranked Barry and the Buccaneers won 8-1.
Barry swept through the three doubles matches and picked up a win at #1 singles to build a 4-0 lead. Sabine Goge produced the Moccasins' only point for the match with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over 23rd-ranked Angie Werschel at #2 singles.
The Moccasins play Tampa Tuesday at 3 p.m. on the FSC courts.
