Mocs Top Lake Superior State To Go To 3-1

The Moccasins improved their record to 3-1 for the season with an 8-1 decision over visiting Lake Superior State Monday at the FSC courts.

Laura Wichmann posted the clinching win with a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 4 singles over Helen Sheridan.

FSC won all three doubles matches and gave up just eight points in winning five of the six singles matches.  Lake Superior State's lone victory came at No. 6 singles.

The Moccasins are idle until Mar. 8, when they return to Sunshine State Conference action with a match at Eckerd.
