Playing their third match in three days, the Moccasins posted their second shutout of the week with a 9-0 win over Adelphi Wednesday at Orlando.
The win was their fifth straight and improved their record to 8-2. Adelphi dropped to 3-1.
The Moccasins allowed just two points in winning the three doubles matches, then took all six singles matches in straight sets. Laura Wichmann won her match at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0, after teaming with Crystal Copeland to win 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.
The Moccasins are on the road for a pair of weekend matches. They'll play at Palm Beach Atlantic Friday at 3:30 p.m. and at Nova Southeastern Saturday 10 a.m.
