The Moccasins snapped a pair of streaks with a 6-3 win over Palm Beach Atlantic Tuesday at the FSC courts. The win snapped a three-match losing streak for the Moccasins and ended PBA’s seven-match winning streak.
The Mocassins improved to 4-7, while the Sailfish fell to 10-3.
PBA opened the match with a win at No. 2 doubles, but the Moccasins took the remaining two doubles contests to grab a 2-1 lead going into the singles matches.
The Moccasins then won three of the first four singles matches, with Magda Riutort’s 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 1 clinching the match.
FSC heads to Texas for three matches over the weekend against St. Mary’s on Friday, St. Edward’s on Saturday and Incarnate Word on Sunday.
