The men's tennis team had eight different people contribute as the Moccasins defeated Southern New Hampshire 9-0 Monday afternoon in Orlando. It was the first of two matches the Mocs will play tonight as they will face Le Moyne at 6 p.m.
With the win the Moccasins extend their win streak to three and improve to 3-6 overall, while SNHU falls to 4-4.
The Mocs swept the double matches, while five out of six of the singles matches wrapped up in two sets.
Robbie Palmiotto and Vladimir Barabash got the Mocs on the scoreboard with an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles. The dou of Benoit Paradis and Carl Lundberg improved its record to 4-4 with a 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles, while Ivan Marevic and Jorge Gutierrez won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.
Charles Garneau provided the clinching point at No. 6 singles with an 6-3, 6-1 win over John Niland. Carl Lundberg scored the Mocs first point in singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Tim Hamilton at No. 5.
