Fourth-ranked Lynn was too strong for the Moccasin women, topping them 5-0 Friday morning in the Florida Blue Sunshine State Conference Championship at the Beerman Tennis Center in Lakeland.
The match had been postponed by rain on Thursday.
The Moccasins' No. 2 doubles team of Christie Nunnemann and Olivia Spagnuolo gave the Knights' team of Ana Kriz and Roxane Alexandru a battle before dropping a 9-7 decision.
The Knights swept all three doubles matches, then closed out the match with straight set wins at No. 4 and No. 1.
The Moccasins play again Friday at 2 p.m. against the loser of the Saint Leo-Florida Tech match. The match is scheduled to be played on the Florida Southern courts.
