The Moccasins backed up Nick Krolczyk's first pitching start of the season with a 15-hit attack for an 11-6 win over Palm Beach Atlantic in the seven-inning second game of Saturday's doubleheader at Palm Beach Gardens. Palm Beach Atlantic scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to win the first game, 6-5.
Krolczyk scattered four hits through six innings, but ran into trouble in the seventh and needed relief help from Austin Jackson to pick up his second win of the season.

Leading 2-1 after five innings, the Moccasins scored four runs in the sixth and five in the seventh. It turned out that the Moccasins needed all of those five runs in the seventh, as the Sailfish mounted a five-run rally of their own in the bottom of the inning before Jackson retired the side.
Mike Snyder had three hits in the game for the Mocs, including his seventh home run of the season, and drove in five runs. His home run came in the four-run sixth. Keith Curcio also had three hits. Cory Jensen, T.J. Kuban and Brad Carlton each had two hits. One of Carlton's hits was a three-run homer in the seventh, his third of the season.
In the first game, the Moccasins took a 5-3 lead to the bottom of the ninth, but the Sailfish scored three runs off closer Nate Carter for the win. The Moccasins were one out away from the victory when Matt Perkowski tripled home the tying run for the Sailfish, then Ethan Perla singled home Perkowski for the win. Carter had allowed not allowed a run in his previous nine appearances covering 8.2 innings.
Jon Jones made the start and worked seven innings, striking out eight and walking just one. Austin Chubb, Colin Kish and Kyle Gibbs each had two hits. One of Kish's hits was a solo home run in the eighth, his second of the season.
