Women's Swimming Honors Class of 2021 and Takes Two From Saint Leo

LAKELAND, FLA. – The Florida Southern women's swimming team claimed two victories on Saturday against Saint Leo University. The Mocs took the first meet 65-41 before picking up the second meet by a 74-44 mark.
 
Prior to the meet the Mocs took time to honor their two women's swimming seniors. The Class of 2021 seniors recognized included: Maria Di Bella and Kimmy Chang.

HOW IT HAPPENED

MEET 1:

• Freshman Jazzy Hoffmann won the 50-free for the second straight day as she posted a 23.61 beating her time of 23.81 she posted during Friday's meet.
• Morgan Misenar and Erin McCann took 1-2 in the 1650-free.
• Freshman Morgan Champagne posted a 1:58.94 in the 200-free for a victory.
• Saint Leo claimed only one event in the first meet which 100-back as the Lions finished 1-2 in the event.
• Emily Peck won the 100-breast in 1:05.80, before Allie Brinton and Nele Strobel finished 1-2 in the 200-fly.  

MEET 2:

• Hoffmann added another freestyle victory to her résumé as she posted a 51.93 in the 100-free.
• Peck, Teagan Michalek, and Grace Sill finished 1-2-3 in the 200-breast. Southern took the 200-breast as Annalise Eisold and Brooke Brennan were the only two to swim the event.
• Strobel and Brinton finished the 100-fly 2-3 and separated by just .16.
• Florida Southern swept the 200-IM as Peck picked up her third victory of the day.
