Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 LAKELAND, Fla. – Competing in a nine and seven inning double header, the Florida Southern College baseball team would outscore Palm Beach Atlantic 25-2 over the course of the two games en route to sweeping their opening series of the 2021 season. The Mocs won Game One, 15-1, before completing the sweep with a 10-1 victory in Game Two.

  • The team would score again in the third as Sehnert drove in senior Zach Scott, who had led off the inning with a double, to make it a 7-0 ballgame.
  • PBA threatened in the sixth, scoring one run, but junior right hander Ryan Langford was able to work out of a bases loaded jam and keep the score 7-1.
  • In the seventh, senior Vaun Brown launched a two-run shot down the left field line to make it a 9-1 game. Sophomore Dylan Costa would come around to score on a wild pitch, giving the Mocs double digit scoring in all three games of the series.
