LAKELAND, Fla. – Former Florida Southern men's basketball player Jonathan Lawton '19 has signed a professional contract with a new team and will be moving to Iceland to play for Thor Ak Akureyri in the Dominos League.
Lawton previously played for Garveys Tralee Warriors in the Super League in Ireland. He played in 19 games, averaging 16.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.6apg and 4.3spg in 2019-20 season as they would win the regular season title. Lawton was named
Eurobasket.com All-Irish Super League 2nd Team.
