GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Florida Southern League of Legends (LoL) team advanced to the Peach Belt Conference LoL Championship match after defeating USC-Aiken 2-1 in the semifinals. The Moccasins fell 3-0 in a best-of-five grand final Saturday night to Converse, the 2022 PBC League of Legend Champion. Â
The Mocs opened the semifinals Saturday afternoon with a quick win with a kill count 20-6 in game one, before dropping the second game to the Pacers. Florida Southern rallied and secured the win 2-1 to advance to the grand final that was to be played just an hour later. Â
Florida Southern fell on the defense quickly in the grand final to Converse dropping game one. The Mocs would find themselves behind 2-0 in the best-of-five match. The Valkryies earned the Peach Belt Conference title with the third game, 24-7Â in kill count.Â
The Mocs took second place in the Peach Belt Conference League of Legends Championship after going undefeated in the regular season in the Blue Division, earning both Player and Rookie of the Year, Dylan Parramore tabbed as the Blue Division Player of the Year and Nicholas Dragowski named the Blue Division Rookie of the Year, and earning wins in the quarterfinals over Montevallo (2-0) and in the semifinals over USC-Aiken (2-1). Â
