LAKELAND, Fla. –
Adam Antor announces his decision to step down as Florida Southern College's Director of Esports as he pursues a new career opportunity at Ferris State University in Michigan, as an assistant professor of Professional Esports Production.

Drew Howard, Director of Athletics and Dean of Wellness. "He helped guide the programs to two Peach Belt Conference titles and set us on the winning way. His passion for Esports was exactly what we needed to get the first conference title secured. His enthusiasm and leadership set our program up for future conference and national success."
Antor joined Florida Southern as the Director of Esports in August of 2021. He was named the College Coach of the Year for NAECAD in 2021-22 and has been a finalist for the Collegiate Ambassador of the Year Award at the Esports Awards each of the last two years. He was named to the list of 30 Higher Education IT Influencers to Follow in 2022 by EdTech Magazine.
In the arena, Antor guided Florida Southern Esports to a pair of Peach Belt Conference titles, winning the PBC Rocket League title in the Fall of 2022 before claiming the PBC League of Legends title in 2023. This past spring, the team earned a bid to the College League of Legends National Tournament.
While compiling a 93-47 record over the past two years, which includes a 31-6 conference record, the Esports program under his guidance were the PBC League of Legends Runners-Up in 2022, crowned the League of Legends Champions at the Battle for Florida (2022), NACE League of Legends Semifinalist (Fall 2022 and Spring 2023), as well as receiving an invitational to compete in the inaugural ENASCAR Rocket League Invitational at Daytona International Speedway.
A national search for a new Director of Esports at Florida Southern College will begin immediately.
