SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Florida Southern College women's tennis team tally a commanding 7-0 win on the road against the Savannah State University Tigers.
The Mocs (3-2, 1-2 SSC) swept the doubles competition and won every set in the singles competition. The Tigers (5-3, 4-2 SIAC) were unable to get a set win during singles for the Mocs to finish the 7-0 win.
A pairing of
Mathilda Vidgren and
Maxima Ellenberg won their set 6-1 as
Eve Robinson and
Laura Vetter won their matchup in a 6-2 decision.
Kelly Klaren made her doubles appearance with
Flor Salerno for another set win and doubles point to the Mocs. A slightly different doubles lineup than used in the past, the Mocs capitalized on the opportunity.
For singles competition, the Mocs won each of their sets in a sweeping victory for Vetter, Salerno, and Robinson to earn another win on the day.
Vivien Charvatova, Isabella Bolivar, and
Minnie Kim represented Florida Southern in the other three matches, each with two-set victories.

The Mocs travel to Hilton Head, S.C. for a spring break trip with matches against Davis & Elkins, Lewis University, and Ashland beginning tomorrow morning.
