LAKELAND, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced the 2023 SSC Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team with Florida Southern College's Malia Brost named to the team.
 
Brost was named to the honor after matching a goal in the SSC Quarterfinal against No. 24 Nova Southeastern. FSC went on to win that game 2-1 for the first conference postseason win since 2013 and the second consecutive appearance in the SSC Semifinal. A 1-0 loss against No.11 Embry-Riddle ended FSC's run in the tournament.
 
Brost finished the tournament with one goal and three shots, including two on goal. For the 2023 season, Brost led the team with six goals and added another two assists for 14 points. The sophomore had two game-winners and 17 total shots on goal with a great year for the Mocs.
