LAKELAND, Fla. – The D2 Conference Commissioner's Association (D2 CCA) has announced the 2025 D2 CCA All-South Region Women's Soccer Teams, with two from Florida Southern College selected. Both Carly Brodsky (GK) and Liliana Jeffries (D) were selected to the Second Team.
Brodksy received the first regional award of her career after a fantastic 2025 season leading the Mocs. The keeper recorded 11 shutouts, including seven against conference opponents across her 18 games in net. The Parkland, Fla., native set program records in the shutouts per season (11) and goals against average (0.45), earning FSC's first Sunshine State Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Spanning two seasons in goal for the Mocs, Brodsky is also a career leader in GAA with 0.79.
A defensive force among the league, Brodsky led the Mocs to a 9-3-6 overall record outside her individual goal records. The Mocs had big wins over No. 18 Columbus State and (RV) Embry-Riddle in 2025, the latter being a 2-0 shutout of the Eagles in Daytona Beach for the SSC quarterfinal. Brodsky's regional recognition is the first time in program history that a keeper has been selected to a D2 CCA All-South award.
Jeffries also earned all-region recognition, was a key part of the Florida Southern defense that led the league in GAA (0.44) and allowed just 8.9 shots per game. The PalmCity, Fla., native started 16 of her 18 games played, tallying over 1400 minutes on the pitch. The senior has two assists so far in 2025, with two shots taken over the 18 games. In the SSC tournament, Jeffries and the Moccasins beat (RV) Embry-Riddle on the road in Daytona Beach with a 2-0 shutout, earning SSC All-Tournament Team accolades.
The previous D2 CCA All-South winners for FSC women's soccer include Morgan Collica, Caitlyn Lowery, Lindsey Meyer in the 2022 team, and Ashley Shimberg from 2024.
