After the Tritons reached 51 points, lockdown defense and Mocs crashing on the defensive end, Florida Southern would extend its lead to 20-plus points, 71-51 on an E.J. Dambreville layup. Jadin Booth would drain a three-pointer to make it 80-55 with 5:11 remaining forcing a Triton timeout. The Mocs would go on to cruise to a 92-68 win on the road in St. Petersburg finishing off a Babatunde Ajike three-pointer.
