Every Moccasin in the lineup registered a hit, with Liquori four hits and six RBI at the end of the game.
  • The Mocs continue to dominate at the plate and improved their batting average to .327 on the season. Liquori is second in the SSC with seven homers so far, with Donofrio and Cavanaugh tied for six. Liquori batted .500 and 10 RBI last week, leading to him winning SSC Player of the Week, his first of the season and the third by a Moccasin this season. Mocs have 31 home runs this season, the best in the conference and top 10 in the nation for a team.
  • On the mound, the Mocs have dipped some with a number of runs allowed the last couple of weeks. As a team, FSC has a 4.58 ERA but continues to outhit and outscore their opponents. Collin Camarigg has had a great run, entering in the ninth and striking out three in his last two appearances.
  • IUP has struggled this season, having lost seven in a row, including a three-game series against Eckerd College Saturday and Sunday. The Crimson Hawks lost game one on Saturday 3-6 but rebounded in a good game two (the first of a doubleheader) against the Tritons. IUP had a 7-4 lead in the seventh but gave up five runs in the bottom of the seventh to drop that game. Game three, and the second of the doubleheader yesterday, went to Eckerd 9-0 as well.
  • Despite a tough schedule, IUP has five batters above .300, though a combined .269 team batting average. Crimson Hawks are led by Harrison Pontoli with a .390 average and 16 hits.
