INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Florida Southern College women's lacrosse saw two student-athletes earn All-Tournament team after the Moccasins performance at the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse National Semifinals at the University of Indianapolis.

Madison Tare named to the All-Tournament team following the conclusion of the championship game Sunday (May 21).
Verrone and
Tare were two of 12 players to earn the honor matching those of Grand Valley State on the team both having reached the semifinals.
After guiding the Mocs to the semifinals with a 19-15 win over No. 10 Flagler and a 15-9 win over No. 2 Tampa, Southern fell to No. 3 Pace 22-11 in the late hours of Friday night (May 19).
Tare paced the team in the matchup against the Setters with three goals, going three-for-three in free position shots while registering two other shots in the game with one caused turnover and one draw control. Tare wrapped up four years on the pitch for the Mocs with 51 games played and 165 total points thanks to 118 goals and 47 assists. Her three free positions goals brought her season total to 27, which her average of 1.16 is 11
th best in the nation with a second-best mark of .815 FPS percentage, which helped the Moccasins finish as the nation's best free position shooting team with a percentage of .664.
Verrone closed her career in the semifinals where she scooped up six groundballs, had three caused turnovers as well as three draw controls while finishing her one free position shot for a goal in the final game of her career. She wrapped up her playing time with 189 career draw controls, 102 at Florida Southern this year which makes her the third player to record 100-or more draw controls in a single season with the likes of Dani Bursinger and Sam Keesey.
