Women's Lacrosse Closes 2025 as No. 3 Team in IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Poll

The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and USA Lacrosse released their respective final 2025 Division II polls, where the Florida Southern women's lacrosse team remained as the no. 3 team in the country after concluding the season in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
 
The University of Tampa closed out the season as the No. 1 team as the back-to-back national champions where Adelphi University is the No. 2 ranked team, after finishing as back-to-back national runners-up falling in the second straight title game to the Spartans.
 
The Moccasins were slotted at No. 3, capping a strong season at 18-3 overall, followed by UIndy and West Chester rounded out the top five with the Greyhounds at No. 4 and the Golden Rams at No. 5 in the IWLCA poll. West Chester and Slippery Rock close out the top five in the USA Lacrosse Poll.

Six Sunshine State Conference teams were ranked in the final IWLCA poll, No. 1 Tampa, No. 3 Florida Southern, No. 8 Embry-Riddle, No. 9 Saint Leo, No. 11 Lynn, and No. 22 Rollins.
 
Florida Southern competed against 10 opponents in the final poll this season posting a 12-3 record against those teams. The Mocs defeated the Eagles of Embry-Riddle three times, Saint Leo twice, and Pace, Lynn, Flagler, UIndy, Dominican (NY), Lander, and Rollins all one time, while Florida Southern fell three times to No. 1 Tampa in the regular season, the SSC tournament final, and the NCAA Quarterfinal.
