AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) have announced the 2023 Academic All-America® Women's At-Large teams, which included Florida Southern College women's lacrosse student-athlete,
Hailey Daleo. Daleo earns Academic All-America Third Team honors joining just three others to earn the Academic All-America® honors in Katie Hammerer (First Team, 2014), Julia Couch (First Team in 2020), and
Patricia Werker (Third Team in 2022). Daleo becomes the first player in program history to earn the accolades under the brands new name, College Sports Communicators

Daleo boasts a 3.93 GPA in the Florida Southern Master of Business Administration program where she wrapped up her career for the Moccasins this past spring where she guided the Moccasins to the NCAA National Semifinals, and a No. 2 final ranking. The Westhampton Beach, N.Y. native finished her career with 168 goals, and 35 assists, totaling 203 points in her three years. Daleo also earned USA Lacrosse Magazine Third Team All-America honors for the third time in her career, having earned the honors in her previous two seasons (2021 and 2022). Daleo was tabbed an All-SSC First Team for the third time in her career, while also being named IWLCA All-South Region for the third consecutive season, two second-team selections (2022 and 2023), and one first-team honor (2021).
She is the lone representative from the Sunshine State Conference to be named to the At-Large team. The Academic All-America® Women's At-Large teams consist of student-athletes from the following sport programs: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, and water polo.
The Division II at-large teams honored 50 student-athletes, with all 15 members of the first team earning 4.00 GPA's either as undergraduate or graduate students. A total of 29 of the 50 members had 4.00 GPA's.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
