LAKELAND, Fla. – The Florida Southern College men's tennis team had another 4-0 win in back-to-back days as the Mocs beat Michigan Technological University Thursday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

The Mocs (5-3, 1-1 SSC) clinched the match in four to continue their busy week on the courts with another doubles point victory and three straight flight wins. The Huskies (1-8, 0-0 GLIAC) were unable to stop the Moccasins in their matchup with no set wins in the shortened match.

FSC had another great doubles performance by
Mario Garoz and
Chris Fok Kow with a 6-3 win at the #1 court, their third-straight flight win as a pairing. To clinch the doubles point,
Ryan Rajakar and
George Russell won 6-4 for the first team point of the day. The third court of
Matteo Feggi and
Edoardo Melindo went unfinished with the doubles point secured.

In singles, Feggi won his second singles flight of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win, followed by a 6-2, 6-3 win at #4 by
Bosko Boskovic for a 2-0 record at the #4 spot. The match point went to Fok Kow at the #2 court with a 6-3, 6-3 decision and another 4-0 Moccasin win. Flights by Garoz and Russell went unfinished, though each up in a set. At the #6 court,
Hunter Nussbaum made his collegiate debut with a starting lineup role, which he handled great with a set one win before the match went unfinished.

The Mocs continue their homestand with a Saturday afternoon match against Southern New Hampshire University on March 2, set for an 11:00 a.m. start.
