LAKELAND, Fla. – The Florida Southern College men's tennis team extended its win streak to six matches with a 6-1 win against Thomas Jefferson University on Saturday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

The Mocs (9-3) lost the doubles point but rallied with a singles competition sweep to win the match. The Rams (3-2) won two of the three flights in doubles but that was the extent of the points for Jefferson in the 6-1 FSC win.

Chris Fok Kow and
Mario Garoz had the only doubles court win with a 6-4 victory at the No. 1 court.
Matteo Feggi and
Edoardo Melindo lost at #2 in 6-2 and
Ryan Rajakar and
George Russell lost 6-4 at the #3 court.

Despite the doubles loss, the Moccasins rallied in singles that started with a win by No. 39 Garoz at #3 with a 6-1, 6-0 score. Fok Kow, ranked 17
th nationally in singles, then won 6-2, 6-2, followed by
Bosko Boskovic with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #6. No. 21 Russell had the match win with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 victory at the #1 court, as did
Gabriel Jornert a 6-3, 7-5 win. The final court win was at #4 by
Inaki Braun Simo in three sets.

The Mocs will continue their home schedule hosting No. 4 Mississippi College on Tuesday, March 12, at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.
